2025/26

100% overall positive response summary once again for BU52039 Brand Management and Strategy this semester.

Very grateful to see such encouraging student feedback once again. This marks two consecutive years of 100% overall positive response summaries during our time co-leading the module.

It was a real pleasure collaborating with Dr Dila Oral Kulturel on BU52039. Students shared many kind comments throughout the semester about the interactive teaching style, engagement, and overall learning experience, including lovely compliments about Dila’s teaching and classroom interaction.

Across BU52050 International Marketing Strategy, it was also very encouraging to see a 96% overall positive response summary alongside reflections on engagement, practical learning, classroom energy, and interactive teaching. As this was my first time leading this module, I am especially grateful to students for their engagement throughout the semester. Comments such as “Dr Ying, her energy carries the whole class” and “Teaching was easy to absorb. It wasn’t overwhelming, actually fun…” genuinely stayed with me. A special thank you as well to Dr Abhishek Pathak for his contribution to the module, and to Professor Susan Kinnear for delivering a fantastic guest lecture that students specifically highlighted in the feedback.

Similarly, feedback across BU21007 Emerging Technologies: the Digital Business Environment highlighted creativity, enthusiasm, quizzes, classroom interaction, and engaging delivery, including comments such as “Ying is such an engaging lecturer with so much passion when she is explaining topics.”

At the same time, we greatly value the constructive feedback shared by students and will continue reflecting on it carefully as we further develop and improve future learning experiences.

Very grateful to all students for their energy, creativity, humour, participation, and thoughtful feedback throughout the semester.

2024/25

Thankful and excited to share that we achieved a 100% student positive rating for the Brand Management & Strategy module (2024/25)!

Co-developing and delivering this module with Dr Dila Oral Kulturel has been a genuinely rewarding experience. We are grateful for the opportunity to shape a learning environment that supports student growth in meaningful ways.

To our brilliant students, thank you for your energy, commitment, and thoughtful feedback! Wishing you all the very best and continued success as you take your brand management journeys beyond the classroom.
