I’ve wrapped up teaching three modules this semester: Emerging Technologies (BU21007), International Marketing Strategy (BU52050), and Brand Management and Strategy (BU52039), and I’m feeling both grateful and inspired.
Every cohort brings something unique into the classroom, and this year’s journey has been full of thoughtful conversations, creative ideas, and moments that made us all pause and think a little deeper.
What I have enjoyed most is how these sessions became something we built together. Through discussions, live activities, and honest reflections, the learning experience continued to evolve week by week.
Across the three modules, we explored different but connected questions.
In Emerging Technologies, we looked at how innovation moves from concept to real-world impact, often questioning what “useful” and “meaningful” really look like in practice.
In International Marketing Strategy, we stepped into the complexity of global markets, thinking through real decisions, trade-offs, and the realities organisations face across different contexts.
In Brand Management and Strategy, we explored how brands are shaped, experienced, and reimagined, bringing together strategic thinking with creativity and application.
Thank you to all my students for bringing your ideas, openness, and energy into the classroom. I will always value and remember the many thoughtful, inspiring, and genuinely special moments we shared together.
It has also been a pleasure working alongside colleagues across these modules, including Dila Oral Kulturel for Brand Management and Strategy and Abhishek Pathak for International Marketing Strategy, sharing in shaping these learning journeys together.
