Setting strategic direction
Yesterday evening, I attended our trustee meeting at Campy Growers to discuss strategic directions for the months ahead, including governance, stakeholder engagement, charity structure, and sustainability priorities. It was a thoughtful and engaging discussion that reflected genuine collaboration and shared purpose among trustees.
As a trustee, I’m proud to play a part in shaping strategies that deepen impact, build meaningful connections, and create positive change across communities.
Joining the board
Honoured to have been elected as a Trustee (Board Member) of Campy Growers at today’s Annual General Meeting (AGM).
It was wonderful to meet everyone today, the chairperson, trustees, staff, volunteers and visitors, and to feel part of such a welcoming community. Campy Growers is a community-led charity that brings together people from diverse backgrounds to grow food locally, supporting nutrition, wellbeing, education, community and climate action.
Alongside the AGM, I also helped out in the kitchen and at the veg stall. It gave me an even greater appreciation of the energy and commitment that keep this community thriving.
During my earlier volunteering with Campy Growers, they kindly agreed to become the client for our Sustainability and Digital Marketing in Practice module assessments at UDSB. We will also be welcoming Kate, Trustee at Campy Growers who also works with Dundee City Council, to deliver a client briefing and Q&A session for our students.
I look forward to contributing to the strategic communications of this amazing community!
Volunteering on the farm
Volunteered again at Campy Growers on Friday, and it was just as fun and inspiring as the last time!
It was lovely to reconnect with Kate and Leslie, and working together again gave me the chance to learn so much. I also met many wonderful people, which makes volunteering here such a special experience.
